Acquario | February 2026

From February 2026, the gallery presents an extremely rare vase designed by Napoleone Martinuzzi for Venini between 1929 and 1930: an ‘Acquario’, model 10803, in light blue transparent glass with red finishes, containing a deep blue branch with red inflorescence. A similar model, in smoky transparent glass with red finishes, is documented in Marino Barovier’s book ‘Napoleone Martinuzzi. Venini 1925-1931’, but the blue version was considered lost and has not been seen or documented since its exhibition at the 4th Monza Triennale in 1930. Today, it returns to the public eye in all its beauty and delicacy, along with a series of highly rare glass objects.
