Bruno Gambone | May 2023

With the aim of further documenting the vast and varied artistic production of Bruno Gambone (1936-2021), the gallery exhibits a series of works created starting from the 1960s. In particular, alongside the numerous ceramics, the exhibition offers two very rare works on shaped canvas from 1968, a period in which Bruno’s research was close to that of Enrico Castellani, Agostino Bonalumi, and his friend Paolo Scheggi. The works by Bruno Gambone are presented together with some historic furnishings produced by Dino Gavina, Driade and Poltronova. Among these, a rare leather sofa from the “Seating System” series designed by Superstudio for Poltronova in 1970.
